These Terms & Conditions apply when you use the NextGen STANDOUT™ website, submit an enquiry or assessment, book a call, purchase a programme, or take part in any NextGen STANDOUT™ service.
1. Who we are
NextGen STANDOUT™ is a career education and coaching programme created by Kamila Sitwell to help young people build clarity, visibility and opportunity before applying for apprenticeships, internships, placements and first jobs.
Contact: hello@nextgenstandout.com.
2. Services
We may provide online learning materials, live group sessions, coaching, frameworks, templates, feedback, community support, assessments, calls and other career development resources.
Programme details, dates, prices and availability are shown on the website or provided during the assessment and enrolment process.
3. Eligibility and assessment
Entry to programmes may be subject to assessment, a fit call, age range, cohort availability and our discretion. We may decline an application if we believe the programme is not the right fit.
Where a participant is under 18, a parent or guardian may need to consent to participation and payment.
4. Payments
Programme payments may be offered as full payment or instalments through a third-party payment provider such as Stripe. A place is not confirmed until acceptance has been communicated and payment has been completed or an agreed payment plan has been set up.
If a payment fails, access to programme materials, live sessions or support may be paused until the payment issue is resolved.
5. Cancellations, refunds and cooling-off
Cancellation and refund rights may vary depending on your location, whether the service has started, whether digital content has been accessed and whether you are purchasing as a consumer or business.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, once a participant has been accepted and programme access has begun, refunds may be limited to the extent permitted by law. If you request immediate access to digital materials or coaching before any cooling-off period has expired, you may lose or limit your right to cancel in relation to content or services already supplied.
6. Attendance and participation
Participants are responsible for attending sessions, completing tasks, engaging with materials and acting professionally. We may not be able to repeat missed live sessions, although recordings or alternative resources may be provided where available.
7. Conduct
Participants must behave respectfully towards Kamila, guest speakers, other participants and community members. We may remove a participant from a programme or community if they behave abusively, share confidential content, misuse materials, disrupt sessions or breach these terms.
8. Parent and guardian responsibilities
Where a participant is under 18, the parent or guardian is responsible for ensuring the programme is suitable, that the young person can participate safely, and that payment obligations are understood.
9. Intellectual property
All programme materials, frameworks, templates, recordings, resources, copy, designs, methods and content belong to NextGen STANDOUT™ or its licensors unless otherwise stated.
You may use materials for your own personal career development. You must not copy, resell, publish, share, teach, license or distribute them without written permission.
10. Outcomes and individual responsibility
NextGen STANDOUT™ is designed to help participants improve their clarity, confidence, professional positioning, visibility and readiness for applications, interviews and career conversations.
While the programme provides structured guidance, tools, feedback and support, outcomes will vary depending on each participant’s starting point, effort, consistency, market conditions and the decisions of employers, universities or other third parties.
For this reason, participation in the programme does not guarantee a specific result, including an offer of employment, apprenticeship, internship, placement, university place, interview, introduction or other opportunity.
11. Participant work and testimonials
You retain ownership of your own work, such as profile copy, posts, portfolio content or outreach messages. You grant us permission to review, comment on and help improve that work as part of the programme.
We will ask permission before using identifiable testimonials, case studies, screenshots, images or results for marketing.
12. Confidentiality
Participants may hear personal information, ideas, drafts or career plans from others. You agree to treat cohort discussions and private community content as confidential and not share other people’s information without permission.
13. Technology and access
You are responsible for having a suitable device, internet connection and access to any platforms required for the programme. We are not responsible for issues caused by third-party platforms, outages, device problems or internet failures.
14. Website information
We aim to keep website information accurate and up to date, but we may change programme details, dates, prices, availability or content where necessary. We are not responsible for temporary website errors or interruptions.
15. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect loss, loss of opportunity, loss of income, disappointment, employer decisions, unsuccessful applications, or outcomes outside our reasonable control.
16. Privacy
How we use personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version on this page is the version currently in effect.
18. Governing law
These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of England and Wales unless otherwise confirmed in writing.
